Running from Cows

Name is Katie, been alive for 16 years. Running is what I enjoy, preferably as far away from the roads and people as I can get. I live in Texas way out in the country where the sky is blue and the cows charge when you have your back turned.

People depress me

Im at my cousins freshman basketball game and the moms behind me are talking about girls in that grade who dont eat enough. One of them actually said “i don’t wany some girls eating disorder effecting my kid.” Really? I’m losing hope in humanity.

run-like-theres-no-tomorrow asked: Don't ever let yourself feel worthless, girl! If you work hard and stay dedicated (which I know you are) you will have an amazing track season. Sometimes injuries give athletes the little extra push that they need, and help them realize just how much they love what they're doing. You're gonna do amazing things this season, girl. Just believe in yourself!

<3 *sniffles* thank you! Maybe I did just need a reminder not to take my health for granted, before this I never appreciated how lucky I was to be able to run everyday. And I hope the rest of your week is a wonderful  as you :)

to-be-healthy-and-fit asked: hey:) get it together girl!! it's ok! you've got time to be ready for track season just get to it the best you can and be dedicated! you are NOT worthless! don't EVER tell yourself that! you're so much better! you are beautiful and capable of whatever you set your mind to! keep you're chin up! <3

You don’t even know me and yet you took the time to tell me something I really needed to hear. You must be an amazinggg person <3 thanks for reminding me why I love tumblr so much!

I shoulda known..

Because of an injury I wasn’t  able to run for two months. Now, I’ve gained 7lbs, my favorite dress doesn’t fit, and I feel worthless. On top of this I have to worry about getting back in shape for track season. I’m not sure if I can do this.

Good news :)

After two months of not being allowed to run my trainer finally gave me some good news. Starting today I will be easing back into training! I’m excited, nervous, and worried, but i’m definitely ready for this.
